I started CalaBu Massage & Coaching in 2019.
I was born in Vic, Catalonia, eldest of 7 sisters, started working at the age of 16 in hospitality while studying a University degree in Tourism at the University of Vic in Barcelona. During late teens and early 20’s I managed several successful restaurants while working alongside my father in his lighting and security systems company. At 25 I became the sales manager for Boada Energy, selling Carandini energy efficient lighting systems and street lighting. Caradini was acquired by Holophane Europe a company based in Milton Keynes UK. I joined Holophane Europe marketing team and helped with the merger of both companies, while improving my English language skills and knowledge of the UK lighting market.

At Holophane I accepted a new sales and London showroom manager role which resulted in numerous sales with new clients. During those 5 years, I was responsible for the successful organization of a European sales conference, numerous technical CPD seminars, social events, product launches, and marketing communications. During the last 15 years, I have run the UK business for Lledo Group the biggest lighting manufacturer in Spain, I have worked as a sales and marketing director for Welfare Hire Nationwide, as the UK & Ireland specification sales manager for Kingspan Light + Air, and as the Business development manager at Eaton Corporation. In February 2021 I joined SSE Energy Solutions (the biggest renewable energy company in the UK) as their Senior Business Development Manager.

As part of my holistic outlook on life, I qualified as a massage therapist in 2019, with diplomas in classic Swedish massage, Indian Head Massage, Warm Bamboo Deep Tissue Massage, Abdominal Massage, Natural Facelift Massage, Lymphatic Drainage and Auricular therapy.

To provide life and career coaching, as well as my individual professional experience of many years in the corporate world, I have also trained extensively and obtained University diplomas in Leadership, Nutrition, Exercise, and Mental Health, Career Mentoring and Coaching, Emotions and Emotional disorders, Health and Wellbeing, horticulture and courses on how to master Conversations and Interviews.

I love helping and motivating people to achieve their goals, listening to their needs and problems, and guiding them to relax and achieve a better outlook in life.
I also grow organic herbs and berries in my allotment, which I then dry and use to make delicious, healing, and detoxifying teas for my massage and coaching clients.
I also organise corporate wellness days, Mini Retreats and Retreats in Spain.
